Migrating from Old site to a new domain name, 301 redirecting questions!

    Hey Guys,

    How do I move my old site to new domain name while still retaining the old back links? Do I need to do 301 redirect the old files to new domain name on the .htaccess file of the old site, right? I don't know if I made myself clear! Any advices!

    yes, you want to 301 redirect. but your best bet for your links is to try to contact them and ask them to change to your new url.
