    Hi Folks,

I'm new to CMS and need help in migrating from mambo 4.5.2 to joomla.

While I was browsing, I saw an auto migrating tool from mambo to joomla.
    http://www.astang.com/joomla/automigrate

Is this auto migrating tool only for migrating SQL? And what other steps do I need to do for migrating my website content from mambo to joomla(Procedure).

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you

It 's easy to migrate from Mambo to Joomla, from my experience it's better that you can make the migration manually without using thirdy party scripts.
The migration procedures you will find on Joomla site are well tested from the joomla community.

    Hi there,

I would also recommend you to do this manually. I once used the thirdparty script, but I had to do it again.

And remember to take backup, before you do anything.
