Migrating from blogger to wordpress - SEO Q.

I have a site on Blogger that I'd like to take over to Wordpress. From an SEO POV, what's the best way to go about it? I've built up some PR that I naturally don't want to lose.

My idea is to import all my posts from B to WP. Won't I be penalized for repeated content?

If I import to WP, then delete the the B content, won't I lose my PR for NO/NO NEW CONTENT?

Should I start blogging only new articles at WP, build it up, and leave the B site as it is, then make the switch?

    I'm confused.

    Help!

you won't lose the pr because of deleting the posts...

you could move everything to the new blog and place a link on the old one pointing to WP

Yeah, it would have worked much better if you'd been using blogger but hosting on your own domain... I did this last year and just used .htaccess to redirect everything to my wordpress site.

Good luck with this one. You may lose your PR, but it will be worth it in the long run.

Unfortunately I don't hink there's any way for you to tranfer your PR without doing a redirect.

Depending on how many posts you have you might want to provide a link to each of your new pages on their corresponding old pages.
