Migrating for Blogger to own domain

HI,

I am writing blogs in Blogger for past few years. Now I want to create my own domain and move all the blogs to that domain. I want to install wordpress in my new domain. Is there a way to do this. anf also can I get the same PR to the new domain. Please help me.

 

I dont know much about pushing the pr but it is very easy to import into wordpress.

Within the wordpress control panel go to manage->import->blogger and it will walk you through all of the steps you need.

 

Pagerank cannot be transfered. I assume you are referring to the subdomain.wordpress.com?

 

No...I am going to create new domain itself.

 

I think you can't get the same PR for your new domain~

 

Yea you can transfer the whole database from blogger to your domain but first you have to do the following things:-

* you have to get your own domain

* self host (can use share web hosting)

* install wordpress through fantastico

* Select theme & import your blogger file to your wp blog.

 

Pagerank is based in the amount of incoming links and the quality of those links to that domain name. It has nothing to do with the content that you are intending to transfer.
