Might as well write blogs with NO images or pictures

Make it text only. A dull site. Why? Because there are so many grey areas and a hassle to post pictures up on your blog along with Adsense.

Even from Creative Commons there's still exceptions or conditions in which one can place a picture on their blog.

Why spend you're time worrying about putting a picture up and being banned from Google, and just start having blogs with no pictures. Makes sense right?

Unless you're a photographer that can somehow go out and get the pictures you need...then great, otherwise you're just spending too much time trying to figure out if you're in compliance or not.

    Agreeed?

Well, having pictures at the site makes it look nicer and it invites people to read your articles
if there is a nice picture next to the excerpt. Also, as some say: a pictue is worth a thousand words.

I just look for creative commons commercial derivative photos on flickr. There's way less of them than other licenses, but that's about the most permissive license you can get.

So far I've only had one person suddenly yank their photo, change it from commderiv to all rights reserved, make it private and issue a takedown to my host. Took 5 minutes to find a different image. Not sure why the guy had it with that license in the first place if he didn't want anyone to use it.

Google prefers blog with rich media like images, video , audio etc. If you can post images on your blog it will look more interesting and readers will visit more often.
