Middle East and Europe Heading for a nuclear conflict?

    as i have already stated in the 'bomb iran poll' of all things, this nuclear war just isn't going to happen.
    it is the cold war all over again. plenty of political posturing and no action, because to act would be suicidal for both sides.
    iran has both russia and china as allies, so to take action against iran would be impossible, even for the mightiest of nations with an army of supermen on board. and iran cannot take action against anybody because as with all nations it doesn't want to get its ass blown of the map in the process.
    like i said the cold war all over again, the same game just different players.

    I don't think you can actually regard the middle east as a single group. You've got the Israelies which have their own agenda, the Egyptian, the Syrians & the Iranians, The Iraquies, the Lebaneese who are controlled for the moment by the Syrians and the Iranians and so on. The Turks for instance do not belond neither with Europe or with the middle east and they have their own agenda. Thererfore, I don't really see a possible nuclear war between the middle-east and Europe.
