ok, let me be upfront. I'm looking for a STAR - someone with great content writing skills. I don't care where you're from, how old you are, whethre you're just one person or a full time content writing staff (I honestly don't mind - as long as I have one person to communicate with) - but I do have the following requirements: 1) Press releases - you need to know how to write them, style them appropriately (according to press release writing standards) and submit them over to me. 350-400 or so words each. 2) Articles - 500 words in length, usually. We're looking for quality, and will pay accordingly. 3) E-books - if you can write e-books, we already have an order for 10+ waiting to be done right now. You can earn quite a bit on this order alone. 4) Sales letters / corporate sales copy - Some clients request that their home page (for example) is rewritten to sell better etc. - if you have experience with sales-oriented writing, that's an advantage, but is not a requirement for this job. 4) Originality - We do not accept copied material. If you plan on copying an existing source and modifying words to pass copyscape, we will not allow that, and if a random test indicates you did so - we will not be working with you, and you will lose your existing balance owed. 5) Speed & availability. We need someone who works at least 5 days a week, preferably 6. You need to be available to answer e-mails several times a day, especially if urgent jobs pop up. We are working in a calm environment in general, but some clients require urgent, and we are looking to comply with their requests where possible. 6) Overdelivery - if you're the type of person who likes to make that tiny extra effort to make the writing project perfect, in ways that satisfy your clients - that's more of a reason for my clients to appreciate you, and hence you'll be an asset. Payment varies on the difference projects, but you can expect to start at 1-2 cents per word for the average job. A 500 word article would be roughly $7-9, while press release (350-450 words) would also be around that sum. An e-book with 10,000 words, for example, would be roughly $100. If you're interested, Submit the following via PM 1) Writing samples - Several, if possible - specifically samples of writing projects like the ones I mentioned you'll be focusing on (press releases, articles, e-books & reports). 2) A short, 100-300+ word write-up explaining a bit about yourself, and why you believe you are the right person for this job. Payments are flexible - and can be sent weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly - per your request! Flat rate monthly payments will also be considered after a short period of working together Sincerely, Adi Friedman Two Believers.
I started reading this long thread. It sounds fantastic as one starts going through the lines. You seem to be one who cares for quality and professionalism. Your projects are good to work. But what happens to all the quality and professionalism when you reach to the point of announcing compensations.I wonder you want quality and do not want to pay even $10 for a Press release !
I'm almost set on my new writer, will select the new writer tomorrow - new submissions still accepted by then, if I like your short write-up, your samples etc. - you may be hired, so feel free to PM me. Ashvaj, you're more than welcome to make an offer based on your existing price range, and I'll consider it - if your samples and bio are better than all other members, chances are I'll work with you. However, if reading the long thread and getting to the compensation makes you reply here, instead of PMing me with your offer - that's another point to consider... Keep in mind - I'm capable of providing 30-40 press releases per month to the right writer, potentially A LOT more if the writer can handle it, and produces high quality content. While others may pay $20, $30, or even $40 per press release - how many are they actually going to contract you for? That's just PRs - there's e-books (got an order for 10 recently, still waiting to be done), articles etc. Just my 2 cents here. Adi Friedman Two Believers.
