    Ho hum, we'll see.

Not feeling too enthusiastic, remembering about YPN.

If this makes Google Adsense improve themselves, that is already good enough.

10-15X payouts is useless if they are more trigger happy than YPN, and YPN was far more trigger happy than Google in banning people.

    Remember that.

Too bad if it's US only. But I guess they won't be as good as adsense anyway.

They are not ready for prime time, that's for sure.
I went to sign up, but -
    1. their "Authentication Certificate" is NOT valid, and
    2. their form is NOT secure (https).

So, I would be sending my personal information on a UNSECURED URL, to a site that does NOT have a valid Authentication Certificate.

    No. I will wait.

"Unable to verify the identity of advertising.microsoft.com as a trusted site."
"You are connected to a site pretending to be advertising.microsoft.com, possibly to obtain your confidential information."
I will NOT be clicking "OK".

I tried Firefox, and then Safari. Maybe it only works with IE, like so many other M$ applications.

Too bad. I really wanted to sign up.

Where do you get this 10-15x number from? That article says nothing about that.

I like the styling, but I wouldn't qualify I'm sure. 10 to 15x is still only about .30 a click, the way Adsense is paying now. ;)

Whoa! I'm glad you found that out. I wondered, as I had not heard anything about this on the news, and it would def be there.

I searched around, and this appears to be the ORIGINAL, OFFICIAL post, from July 18th -
    http://www.adcentercommunity.com/bl...for-web-publishers-now-open-via-adcenter.aspx

<edit>I searched some more, and I found that Barry mentioned it on March 31, 2008 -
    http://www.seroundtable.com/archives/016725.html </edit>

I submitted my concerns in the "Feedback" form.
They do not even acknowledge the submission of the form. Blackhole-ism. The cluelessness continues.

In the ad shown above, we have - Nike shoes, Proactive, and Italian Ice, all in the same ad block.
It looks like spot-on targeting is not going to be one of the features.

<edit>I checked their "Privacy Policy" - over 4,200 words. Basically, they say that they will use your info in every conceivable way. Not very reassuring. They will probably email you until you are senseless. It is probably just as well that I can't sign up. I hate email spam, and "web beacon" spying.</edit>

I'm not able to fill out the form to sign up. Which is totally bogus. It's just a plain ugly html page when I visit it. I've got javascript enabled. Is Microsoft playing games again?

Hey, ly2, as oncameratalent points out, where did you get this?

Did you make it up? I searched everywhere, and YOU appear to be the source. Wishful thinking?
Please straighten me out, and quote your source.

A year ago I would have agreed, but the recent payouts have made a LOT of people search for alternatives. If Microsoft keeps word and gives these extreme payouts, they'll beat AdSense in no-time, since AdSense doesn't have the monopoly on ad serving like they have on searching (ok, 85% then).

That looks really cool but I wouldn't count on 10-15x more payout. Because they are just taking money from the advertisers and I think ant advertiser would rather pay 10-15x less.

It does look awesome though and I can't wait to try it out.
