    Hey guys,

I'm using Adobe Acrobat 7.0 to convert DOC files into PDF's...but whenever I open the PDF and click on any links they always open within the same window.

Any idea how to make these links open in a new window??

    Thanks,

    Sean

Sean, I know how to do it for a web page. I'm not sure if that will work for the format you're describing though. Just in case you wish to try, here is an example link with the 'new addition' in bold:

    <a href="http://www.yourdomain.com/" target="_blank">Link Description</a>

    Hope this helps! :)

Right click on the hyperlink and choose properties. Or highlight the text that is the hyperlink and press CNTL-K. Now, in the dialog box that opens, choose target frame and choose New Window. Hopefully this will do the trick in Adobe as well.

You might need to re-create the hyperlinks in Adobe.

    Try It:
    1. Right click on link on word file.
    2. Then Click on Edit Hyper link.
    3. Click on "Target Frame" and select "New Window".

It will work in Word file but can't say about PDF.

Doing the above will insert that into the Word Doc file. If it carries over to the print, I am not certain. But it does work in Word
