   How can i change the country from USA to Australia for spell checking so it stops changing my words automatically to fit the US spelling?

   Have you try this steps. In Words, go to Tools >> Language >> Set Language
   
   I'm using Office 2003 right now, and I don't know whether the interface is similar or not.

   Yeah it is different but i just found it in Review >> set language.
