Microsoft: windows desktop/email question! please help!

    i have been using a laptop and recently used my cousins old model desktop to check my emails and go on msn and now when i turned on the desktop,it says "345 unread emails ( my email adress) on the windows start up page.I really don't want that information to be seen! i want all my traces off the desktop asap!what can i do? i deleted all browsing history! my laptop doesn't show anything like that just desktops?any help please?

    Apparently you selected remember your login details somehow. I am not sure what you are trying to do for sure, but usually removing the cookie will prompt you to log back in.

    Sounds like it may be as simple as having MSN messenger in your start up menu. I would just run msconfig and unclick MSN messanger on the startup tab. Hope this helps.
