Microsoft Windows 7... What you say?

Microsoft Windows 7 is the next release of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft stated in 2007 that it is planning Windows 7 development for a three-year time frame starting after the release of its predecessor, Windows Vista, but that the final release date will be determined by product quality. Most IT experts believe Windows 7 could be out as early as the first half of 2010.

Will it be lucky for Microsoft with windows 7?

I think it will officially replace the XP and Vista, yes it'll be lucky if it doesn't use as many RAM as Vista

With more and more big name computer companies (Dell, ASUS etc) offering factory installed Linux alternatives, the clock is ticking for the Windows family computer.

Vista is killing Windows. Windows 7 will tap the last few nails into the coffin.

It seemed like they did a lot of cleaning up after the vista mess or bugs or incompatibility.

I installed it last week, so far so good.

I think they need to take xp's simple filing system and incorporate it to vista theme. In vista you click for ages to get to a simple file, then if you hit old menus it works for part but you lose advanced menus you can only use in new vista model. It's OK and I've been using it for almost 2+ years but I really hope it is cheap and the filing system is easy to use. No crap that Vista has everywhere.

I've heard nothing but great reviews from it from all over the internet to friends that have tried it. Looks like it might be a winner. I'm looking forward to it.

No big improvement from Vista. It was just made to pacify the dissatisfaction of Vista users. Next is Windows 8 to pacify the dissatisfaction of Windows 7 users.

Personally I Love XP, it's very fast and reliable. I tried Vista but that didn't satisfied me.
