Microsoft Visual Studio 2003 or 2002

    Hi guys i am an engineer...started working on .net..please suggest me which one is better.....Microsoft Visual studio .net framework 2002 or 2003....I have no idea od Visual basic 6.0

    Why not use Visual Studio 2005 or better yet Visual Studio 2008? Both VS 2002 and 2003 are super old and dont take advantage of any of the recent new Microsoft platforms like WPF and Silverlight.

    I've used Visual Studio 2002 and Visual Studio 2005 and found Visual Studio 2005 to be far better as it supports .net framework 2.0. Visual Studio 2008 has just been released or is about to be released. It will allow you to choose which .net framework you want to use. I'd go for that.

    Basically i am working on mobile applications so which one is best...after seeing the replies i would try visual studio 2005
