The default font.. is so annoying, anyone know how to change it? I just got a new comp yesterday with vista installed... and it's hurting my eyes to read lol.

I know there's a program available, but im a little hesitant using 3rd party program on a brand new comp... any other idea's?

I think you can download a different vista theme.
BTW does anyone know how to move to the parent folder of the folder you're in in vista?
(I mean similar to the "up" button in XP...)

Thats easy, use the ALT and UP cursor keys together to get to the parent folder.

You can click on those navigation "links" in the toolbar.

hi, i found how to change it.
first right click on desktop, it displays a window that in the bottom part says "personalize".
then displays other window in the control panel that says "personalize appearance and sounds", the first option is "window color and appearance" there ara a pellete to costomize the colors of the theme, but in the bottom there is a text that says "Open classic appearance for more color options", must click right there and it appearas the classic menu of 98 and xp, the windows name displayed "appearance settings" there is a button in the right bottom corner of that window says "advanced...", it will show you another window called "advanced appearance"
now you have to change each item font in case the item use a font, i say that because there are items that don't need font, like the window borders or others..

thats all, but i if you have a pretty font to use, your laptop will looks very good!!!

    bye
