Problem is, they have already started bundling vista with laptops/desktops etc.. so if anyone is getting a new system, they may be stuck with vista, whether they like it or not. Personally, I do agree with waiting for a while...
just 1 thing i wanna to say. there is not a program that cannot be hacked, why. ? because we are humans and we think a lot. this programs are created my people not by aliens. anything can be hacked. remember the blue ray disc and hd disc?? was hacked. the company invested 4 millions $ into this technology and a for what ? 1 mount later somebody finds a way how to hack the disc protection.
I love Windows! People install programs for you and you don't even have to ask I get to see my favorite color (blue) I get to play Start... even though I can't find End! I must suck at the game. I get to play some fun games... like Restart (I think it's a remake of Start) Some times my friend Paper Clip stops by, he is all ways so nice and loves to answer questions. Now I even Get Mr. Vista. He's a nice security guard. Don't know why Paper Clips trying to hurt me... but if Mr. Vista says so. He's just looking out for me! But... It does get scared really easily! then it's as stiff as a petrified cat. Poor thing...
Thats what I don't get all these programs and sites try to prevent pirating, but they are just throwing their money away...there will always be a way around its just a matter of time.. imo it is a waste for all these companies beefing up security, spending alot of time and money, to have it bypassed in a matter of weeks.
Its just a time stop, As i own vista it lets you install without a serial but you got 30 days to do it. What the so called hack does changes the bios date so baiscly you keep getting 30 more days added.
This doesn't really surprise me. I'm stuck with Vista since it came with my Toshiba notebook, but it's not all that bad.
