    Anyone can add a folder too windows - this isn't microsoft using warez, but rather, someone using microsoft using warez.

    that picture is a screenshot from the microsoft website, so we assume it's from a computer that belongs to microsoft.

    Anyways, they are not using warez, the guy who wrote the article named the folder "warez" as he could have named it virus.

    They probably just wanted to quickly create a folder to test whatever and that just happened to be the first thing that came to mind.
