Microsoft surface looks pretty awesome in terms of potential and usage. A little costly.. but no pain no game.

Anyone out there planning on purchasing a unit for personal/professional/business use in the near future? Just curious to see people's response to Surface.

This is another one of those dud "technologies" you will never hear of again in a year or two.

We have to find this "they" person. Like I said, if you ever find one, in a year or two it unplugged and pushed into a corner somewhere with all the other arcade games.

Lol I can see how that would be true... But I still think it looks like a fun new toy to play with. Until you get bored after a couple hours.

Wasn't Microsoft Surface "released" years ago?

Either way, my opinion is that of SarcasticGamer's.

I think Microsoft Has done a good job but the technology is not new ....
I am interested in it as I have given seminar in my college about this technology ......
The only thing which I think which is most irritating in this concept is the consumers money ....

And if you think from Doctors point of view he would not allow you to use that as you need to bend your neck all the time when you use it ...

Every new tech has few good and bad things to show...

Microsoft's surface is not an exception :D

It's just a big table with multi touch...sure it's cool, but nothing more than an expensive and good-looking toy...not going to make any money for M$, which is what they wish probably :)
