Microsoft SkyDrive, at 5gb, officially out of Beta, and offered in 38 countries

    Windows Live SkyDrive, a free online storage service from Microsoft, just got better and bigger. They now provide 5 GB of storage space.

    SkyDrive team has just posted on their blog, announcing that indeed, SkyDrive is now at 5gb, that it's out of beta, and that it is now available in 38 countries:
    SkyDrive is also available now in 38 countries/regions. In addition to Great Britain, India, and the U.S., we’re live in Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Denmark, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Finland, France, Guatemala, Honduras, Italy, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, Portugal, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, and Turkey.

    I don't really trust these online storage services, but I will probably use this one to upload some files. However, I strongly suggest that people do not upload "important" files.
