Your english isn't that great, and I can barely make out what you are trying to say. For this reason, I am no longer subscribed to this thread and will cease posting here. I have made my point, which you either can not comprehend or do not even wish to debate- you just want to make sure you are on the right side of the matter by any means possible.
lol .... well its upto you to subscribe to thread or not. I cant help in much. Still a green rep for you for the good discussion.
It wasn't much of a discussion really since you base your arguments on well..nothing logical. That's why I stopped replying
Yeah thanx for doing it. ... I appreicated. Next time I'll post some calculus questions or maybe some differential or integration questions
This thread's title is kind of suggesting that life should go open source otherwise I think we do need to worry about earning some money for a living. So do Bill's employees.
Why do people think that Open Source means not earning money? Who started this insanity? There is a lot of companies make a lot of money on Open Source.
We know exactly what the following means: According to the above, I personally don't mind that MS products (especially their OS) remain as they are, closed source. Don't need to touch the source code myself. And if I wish to tweak anything, there are tooks that can help. But "Open Source" can also be taken as: and Now, going back to the first meaning I quoted, I'd prefer that MS remained a closed source product. Why? Because I do believe that as an open source it will raise even higher security threats for its users, and I'm just one of them. http://www.securityfocus.com/columnists/269
Have you heard the news today Microsoft has issued 4 critical updates. Today. What Security protection?
I don't think MS should go open-source - it's their software they spent years and millions developing why should they just offer it for free??? makes no sense. In the real world companies that develope good quality, popular products don't just give them away for free. I havn't read all the posts in this topic but from what I have it seems it has just turned into another Microsoft bashing thread.
@RogerWilco: lol ... come on read the complete thread. And years and millions on developing the Operating system named Windows .... same can be said for Redhat, Mandrake, suse, slackware or any other linux distos. It takes time and hardwork ( real hardwork) to complete the coding. Still Linux is open source.
LOL, Microsoft latest news is New security information? This is the most funny thing I have ever read.
It is very difficult to remain in the tuff competition in US, and microsoft is most competent and for it it is investing, and in competition one should be giant, microsoft is a corporation and corporation has to pay more govt. taxes than other business. microsoft would not survive if they do the same.
This is infinite debate that can never end, microsoft open source, I think bill has made alot of money we didn't even guess that how much money he has? and now, I think microsoft should go open source..... there are alot of companies running open source, and they are earning so much.... This is not bad deal that microsoft go open source rather it will up the graph of sales of vista or 7.... I think bill just think about it for a while.... So, Entertaining Thread, love to read all of your opinion...... thanks rmartish
Obviously since it's almost five years old now. But I'm sure DP posters will keep it going strong five years from now!!!!
