Yep, M$ and open source don't go together, if they would have made their OS open source they wouldn't have nearly as many problems with it as they do
IE isn't sold for money, and no one's forcing you to buy MS products. People always vote with their wallets. So what if they choose MS. They have a reason. There are several options in the market. Apple isn't doing half bad, and Linux has been out for years. It's no one's fault that Linux has sucked, so no one has really adopted it other than the really "geeky"/"techie" crowed. Also, IE (on Vista) isn't nearly as bad as everyone makes it.
In fact, on Vista, IE runs on an even lower level then that of a regular user Also, it really annoys me when people hate IE, I use it, its my main browser. I know its not the best, but I like it. The thing is, if you don't like IE, then stfu and just use Opera or Firefox or whatever, because you don't have to use it, especially if you use Vista where IE is even less integrated into Windows.
I've always used IE form way back Windows95. Got a few problems yeah, but it is still the mother of all browsers. Firefox, Opera and the likes are just "reborn" versions of IE so to speak.
What about web developers? I'd like to close IE for good and stop developing sites for a browser that doesn't comply with web standards but there are people like you who likes it and still uses it. Unless that change, I cannot say good-bye to IE
I use IE cos i'm just so lazy to install something else.. one thing that annoys me about it is how it just eats up so much memory for no reason.. google chrome is nice.. just so smooth and light
What was that kid thinking...? OS(Open Source) & Microsoft LOLz !!?? Ballmer was like " I've never heard of that word Open Source before...."
This man knows. You'd think the worlds most popular web browser would at least try and comply with web standards. I don't mind Microsoft too much myself, but I dislike IE with a passion.
