Microsoft releases new anti virus

Started using Microsoft Security Essentials last week after years of AVG. Till now it works fine.

 

i have already heard this news.but i have no idea about it.because i have not used till now.i am using kaspersky antivirus.

 

I'm also using Microsoft Security Essentials. It working fine for me!

 

i was using bitdefender for many months ,it never detected even spyware but my anti-virus did.Have to see what there anti-virus does?

 

Microsoft security essentials is a good antivirus. I am using that in one of my PC. Satisfied with the performance.

 

Yeah it's a good news for all. Cause the virus is very disturbing thing i just looking for effective anti-virus. I will try to install in my computer.

 

I think Microsoft security essential is the one of the good antivirus. It able to block all kind of virus.it is free,light size and easy to use.

 

i think Microsoft Essentials not OK with Bkav, Kaspersky, Norton....

 

With the latest Windows 8, you will not need to install a third-party virus guard. You get an improved Defender by default with Windows 8. I'm using both Security Essential and Defender in my Windows 7. I saw a good article at VPSWEBSERVER site today about this new Defender and how it works.

But I recommend to use a third-party virus system while using this Defender since Microsoft has more other work than improving their virus guard (Defender) and other vendors who are in the security application development directly targeting active and upcoming threats, and they are always updated.

 

I am a user of it. It is nice with Security and easy to install. It acquires less disk space even.

 

I'm surprised people haven't heard of MSE before. It has been out for some time and has good reputation around. It's pretty good, simple to use and keeps your PC secure.

 

I thought the security essential is always there?

I am using Microsoft Security Essential antivirus software. It is not new product because I am using it from last year. It is best antivirus i ever use because it is very light and powerful against any kind of viruses. It works well with Windows 7. It enable security needed to run internet safer and faster.

 

It is automatically scans the PC to detect the viruses in the Computer.

I hope so... though I haven't still used it. I'm using Symantec's one.

 

Hope it won't ask for Genuine window.
