    I've used windows and linux based OSes, and linx is ok, but I'd much rather run windows due to its software availability.

    I've never had a need to switch to Linux. I've had people tell me to use Ubuntu or something but I'm just fine using Windows XP for what I do. Though I'd like to switch to Win7

    Since first i am using Microsoft Windows (98, XP, Vista and now Windows 7). I tried to install the ubuntu linux, but due to internet connectivity problems i was failed to successfully install it. May be will try it again later.

    As usual we are using Microsoft proctors, especially OS, where as we're using Linux also free. Bu I recommended window going well.

    if we compare two operating system(window or Ubuntu) these are both different because window operating system effect with virus but ubuntu work freely without afraid with virus.
    but window(xp/win7) contain more feature and it is user friendly operating system.
    in ubuntu u also take a knowledge of commands.... but window is gui or cui operating system..
