Office 2010 is set to release in March 2010. This is the Technical Preview Version that will be released to a selected group of people in the month of June/July, you can access it now.

Office 2010 is much faster than 2007 and much cooler. Office 2010 has all the features of 2007 and many more.

Office 2010 is compatible with all previous versions and OpenOffice 3.1

For PowerPoint users, Microsoft has added some amazingly cool slide transitions.

Office 2010 (Technical Preview) is very stable and i use it as my primary Office Application.

Agree, I have installed the new office for some time - just to take a look, but really did not like the interface...and of naturally the 2010 version will be similar/same.
Maybe if I move to windows7 some day (did not like vista either) I'll try it...

    Anyway, thanks for the preview.

at the first time, office 2007 very frustating to use. After you adapted to it, you'll find it's more powerful then office 2003. I'll give office 2010 a chance.

I can't wait for it to come out. I am already using windows 7 and think it runs great. Runs so much more stable an XP. XP crashes on a regular basis, Vista/7 have never crashed on me one time yet. Office 2007 was not hard to adapt to and is easy to use. If you look at something and are afraid of change, well then of course you are going to be negative about it.
