Has any one tried using this? I must say I really do hate the Word 2007 (beta) its fucntions and how they are laid is well confusing, and I cant find the tools I want half the time! I think its a waste of time your opinons?

well, being an expert user of MS office for the last 6 years, I think incorporating new features in a software package is not at all a bad idea but one thing that is very important is that all these features should be designed to be user friendly. secondly, Microsoft should also emphasise on the main features in the first place. It is my personal experience with trainees, that most of them were not even aware of 50% of the features that MS Word provides us. So, the new functionalities are of no use to more than 50% of the users. It rather has a burden on your computers memory.

I agree to that adding new features is great, but I dont think it is user friendly, so i have recently reverted back to my old microsoft office

our company has used it for about 7 months now, its like any other "new" thing that is realeased, your gonna have to just learn it has it was almost new, I like it, at first yeah.. had to search for certain things, but overall, I like it, latest release still alittle buggy, but on a scale of 1-10 I give it a 7

I have it on my computer right now, and I must say a lot has changed. Everything is more visual now. You can hover over everything and get a preview before you actually change anything on the page. Like say I wanted to make the title bold and centered, I could actually do all that without changing anything. Once I click the button it will change the text, but until then you will get a preview of what it will look like.

I have the beta. Outlook has a few problems which makes it crash, but other than that I love it especially Word.

I tryed it early 2006 when it was first released. Uninstalled again within a week. Some of it wouldnt install correctly unless i downloaded yet more windows garbage.

I prefer works 1997 over office 2007. That is how bad it is.

I've used it for a month, and I must say it looks pretty nice. Of course, you have to go about relearning everything, which is a pain in the @$$. And it has a tendency to freeze up.
