Microsoft logo appears as Google favicon...

I was searching something today in Google and I found Microsoft logo as Google favicon.

Did I miss anything? There is no news about it anywhere. Has Microsoft conquered Google? :D

Check this URL from your browser.

    http://www.google.com/favicon.ico

If it still shows Google logo, clear your browser cache or just click Ctrl+F5 or Ctrl+R.

See my screen shots in the attached images.

Hmmm... I just check it from my dedicated server (located in US) and there is still Google logo  Maybe this is my ISP's trick? Because currently I'm in Middle East and all Middle East ISP's filtering content.

It's still Google. I suspect your computer may have virus in it that's why it shows google logo as microsoft logo. Usually computer virus causes these type of errors.

This could be a problem with his system but more likely a problem with his ISP and their network.

Probably just on your end or just a little bit of bug on your browser.

I think Microsoft will have to up their game to diminish Google's 60% of the market share
