Same here except some security holes have been closed and its ready for HTML 5 which isn't in wide use yet. Supposedly there were supposed to be some speed gains but I'm not feeling it. In terms of speed my experience is Chrome beats them all

I've been a computer power user since 1982. I despise microsoft. I really like Safari. IE8 crashes frequently. Yet, I still use IE8 3 hours to Safari 1 hour.

It is just that much more comfortable for me.

and thats what technology is all about. I forgot to mention Safari. Found it nearly as fast as chrome but just find too many sites that don't work with them.

I would much rather use IE than FF, but just like all the other IE fans, I know that FF is better
But I would rather use IE
    dont know why lol
But, FF has some great features, e.g. Start Private Borwsing

The only new things I see in IE8 Beta is stupid predictive search and delete history on exit

Perhaps you already use to IE environment, so you choose to stick.

IE 8 is definitely better than it's predecessors. A main drawback when compared to Firefox is the huge number of extensions. Firefox being open source gets extensions written every day for it.
