nice feature you can choose to only display the title, or also the description with it. And choose 'search within this site'
It's actually not bad at all, and I like the scrolling and the general "look" of it. Plus, they already have about half the content of a site I launched just 2 days ago in their Index! Google has the front page, but not the content. The only downside is the rest of the main search page; MSN should stop trying to push their other junk on people who just wants to do searches.
Yeah ... and in the right hands, this name could become so much. I honestly don't believe msn will trump anything with quality. They show no sign of it. Something I've written about on thirdsquare.
well it helps to be on top for my keywords but with little traffic so what? Traffic MS give us Traffic!
I would have to agree with you on this. I used the beta version and was not impressed, but I am going to watch and see how it progresses. MSN might surprise us and that would be great, but as said before they have been stating that they are going to be the best soon and that is a long time in coming so far.
They need a new way to go about the search definetly to pull users from Google. Perhaps some intertwining with Vista might be a good way to go.
I pretty like it . I definately see future in this type of websites (AJAX , content that changes on the fly). No clicking on next, next, next button = saves time! .
lol just had to do this. Mine gave me the blue screen of death. lmao kidding, but it does look okay, takes a while to load and return results but. Or is it just me? Brad
It was getting Slashdotted and Dugg and every other blogg'ed all at the same time this morning and it was dropping in and out of service. The image seach was unusable and you'd get not responding errors frequently. It seems more Alpha than Beta for a major player's web portal.
there seems to be an error on the page. where it just keeps saying "loading..." in swf. look i know its beta
