Speed is not an issue as much as technical incompetence. All versions of IE, including IE9, are inept and weak.
I'am using ie but i'am thinking of switching to firefox it seems much faster. And i it can autofill in the information
Well not everybody is passionate about computers, IT, nevertheless web development so.. I can still understand that aspect.
IE is pretty crappy although at least they are trying to make it better with IE9. Firefox on the other hand seems to be getting worse and slower with every version they release. Chrome is by far the best browser these days (Safari and Opera are pretty good too). IE I won't touch, and Firefox has become so slow (even with no plug-ins) that it's painful to use after using Chrome.
Hasn't tried FF4 beta. Fix your system. Yes, Chrome is fast and fun to use. FF runs fine on the 20 machines we use but FF is far more flexible, easier to use and adaptable than Chrome.
It's not that Internet Explorer is bad it's just that people are too stupid to upgrade. People that are still using IE6 and get a virus and then blame Microsoft for making bad products have really only their selves to blame. But sadly that's how it goes these days.
not everyone is working with computers and most of the people who use this software to surf the net and check emails its enough for them.
Yes it is. It is, by far, the worst browser on the planet. The best thing you'll be able to say about IE9, when it comes out, is that it's inept.
Windows 7 is better than all previous OS but they have to do something on IE because it is getting horrible.
Firefox is indeed king due to its great security and great great addons. The downside is that it consumes way too much memory and using lots and lots of addons can really slow down the browser, I know it I experience it. I considered using IE, but with many zero day exploits against it, appearing from time to time, it's not really an option. Now I'm using Google Chrome which is fast and secure. When I need to use some addon functionality, I just switch to FF.
I think so ... because they have billions of $ ... BTW OP, that's very bad, however, I don't use Windows
im not using IE anymore for years now.. there's drastic changes anywhere and we have to keep up with that changes.
