    More Microsoft insanity:
This company has had 3 vice presidents leave in the last year or two. It's talking crazy talk.

I can't believe how many people still use IE6 and IE7. I think everyone who buys a computer for internet use should have to do a test to show they know the basics of internet security. I am not an expert on internet security but surely there has been enough hype and media coverage of the problems and holes in IE6.

I think they're already very worried. When the basis of your competitive advantage is having a monopolistic market share, you've got to work very hard to maintain that. Once competitors start to chip away aggressively at that market share, it's very difficult to get it back.

The ie market share would probably be even less if they weren't allowed to have it pre-installed along with windows os in many countries. If they were forced to let people make a choice of the web browser they would like to install when buying a new pc, they might have an even smaller market. It doesn't help when there browser (ie) isn't that good compared to the competition either.

where did you get that info?
as long as IE is not open to plugin and addon developers, it won't be a hit.

Good LORD ! Well yeah, FireFox and Google Chrome are taking over the IE because of hundreds of thousand of add-ons are easy to use on FF and GC .. It's the time to watch over the MS for their doings, itself ..

Windows 7 is a good OS. I used Mac OS at home and Windows 7 at work. I am pleasantly surprised at the headways that Windows has made since XP

I am a Maxthon user, but that is simply because IE is so slow!

I thik if microsoft got their act together and developed a decent, fast, customisable browser, they would have a winner on their hands :D
