hello, while i was searching for a new version for the Microsoft Expression Web 4 i found out that the product is discontinued and it's available for free
    read about here
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-US/expression/
and you can downloaded from here
    http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=36179
i'm wondering why they won't support it anymore it's a good tool
i think i must switch to Dreamweaver it's still supported and they will plan to release new versions in the future
    enjoy the free version

Probably for the same reason they stopped supporting Front Page way back - it produces crap web pages. The whole concept is bad - you can't create properly-written web pages by using a graphical interface. Expression Web, Dreamweaver - the product doesn't matter, creating web pages without actually writing semantically correct code creates incorrectly-written web pages.

Sure, it's the only way that people who don't know how to do it correctly can use, but it still produces crap. The only way to create properly-written websites is to learn how to write them. Either you learn or you put crap on the web.
