This is for all those who told me last quarter that Microsoft would have a booming year when I told them it would flop.

Not true at all. Apple's last quarter was record breaking, as was Google's, and Apple just reported its second best quarter ever. Microsoft's, however, will be abysmal.

Microsoft need to come up with some new ideas! All the best guys are going to google and facebook. Their labs have had the same stuff on it for the last 3 years as well which is abysmal when compared to the rapid development of google. Lets hope google release their OS soon and give MS a head to head desktop battle.

    Cheers,

    John

p.s. Im surprised how little share ms have on the search. according to www.alexa.com ms has live at 5 and msn at 6 for the most visited sites on the net...guess its just peeps checking their mail

There is a slow down and it is a fact very ably reflected in the result of even a leader like google.
Hence, it is very obvious that a company like MS which is sleeping on its past achievements, would be hurt even more!
