Has anyone else had trouble getting listed in this directory? My site is focussed on poker site reviews and strategy I submitted my site about 4 weeks ago and within hours was rejected with a reason given that the site contravened their terms of service in that it was gambling related and linked out to other gambling sites. After further dicussion with them they told me they do not allow gambling sites on the directory. However they have a gambling and casino sub category which is populated by over three pages of sites offering gambling information and in most if not all cases links out to online casinos etc. I took this up further with them and I am still hitting a brick wall to the point now where they will not even reply to my emails about the subject. Don't get me wrong if they had turned round to me and said we are not willing to list your site because it is not relevant or does not have enough quality information in it etc then I would accept that - but they have not said this they have merely said that it is becuase it is gambling related. In fact one of their responses was and I quote: 'We have a gambling category on the directory because it maybe possible to accept gambling sites. However, allowing the gambling sites will be under the discretion of our Policy Enforcement Team. Please note that we do not allow online gambling. Based on the investigation of our Product Team, your web site has links to online gambling and it allows users to play the games directly.' This just does not make sense at all- anyone got any thoughts or should I just drop it and forget it?
a rejection is a rejection. I doubt you'll be able to work through the red tape enough to gain acceptance. Move on to the next directory.
Yep. The only thing you'll get from fretting about it or trying to get them to change their mind is a headache and high blood pressure. You can use all that energy to promote your site in other ways.
Very strange thing: You have to create a passport account, and it will never work. Why have a hotmail just to get a dir submission. Why use IE, why make security low, .... Because there is no competition yet(?) I also wonder if it is of any help in any way.
You don't have to have a HotMail account anymore to create a Passport, although that used to be true.
I'm having hell getting past their extremely tight tolerances for code. I had no problem optimizing my html pages that I created, but it appears that both SMF and Articelive are not liked by the Bcentral spider. Brandon
andyd they do not allow gambling sites from Nort America they check your IP and they regected you. The sites you see are from other counties. The samething goes on with adwords if you try to subcribe to Googles adwords they say sorry no gambling sites but Googles has gambling sites on adsene from other countries

I used their services for 1 month, so basically it only cost me $24.95 to get in the directory. My site is Pet Med Outlet http://sbd.bcentral.com/3211_1.aspx
Just realized they are now charging a $25 setup fee. So i guess it's not better. All I can say is you can spend $.95 more and get a great tool with an automatic submission. Sorry for the misleading you, it was different when I used the service.
