Hi Everyone.. I am working in WCF, Extjs. I planed to do some microsoft Certification. What kind of certification, I have to do?
I'd talk to your employer about your career advancement and what qualifications the company will recognise.
The company I work for provides 1 free voucher to take any microsoft exam if we pass the pre-test they have. Like mentioned earlier, talk to your boss and ask him or her what cert's would be best to get to help you succeed further at the company. You don't want to get any cert's that is really useless and you won't use that knowledge at work. The more Cert's I get the better chances I have at getting a promotion is how I see things plus it just add's to the list of skills I have on my resume.
I think you want Exam 70-503: http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/exam.aspx?ID=70-503&locale=en-us#fbid=dB86aa_TcX6 Certifications are for you personally - I wouldn't worry about what would impress your current boss. Decide what you want to do and go that direction. If you want to be a Sysadmin, Developer, etc then follow that path.
http://msincic.wordpress.com/2012/04/11/microsoft-certifications-renewed-understand-what-changed-and-enjoy-promotion-2x1/ No, i have read this on MSDN as well. 3 yrs is the validity and you need to rewrite latest to update the status co.
Microsoft certifications don't expire. It's better to get information directly from the source (Microsoft.com in this case), instead of going to a wordpress.com site. from - http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/certification-overview.aspx#fbid=oIZIAxeH3Hu And from - http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/mcsa-certification.aspx#fbid=oIZIAxeH3Hu
For your information, I never told it gets expired but by 3yrs it value deprecates and need to write exam again to maintain the trend. Hope this clarifies. The existing MCITP certifications are currently valuable in the market and will remain valuable as long as companies are using the technology covered in your certification. As new technologies are released, they will align with the new solutions structure. Over time, MCITP certifications will retire and will transition to a legacy status. Legacy Microsoft Certifications will still appear on your transcript and will be designated as such.
