Plus do you need projects in addition to certification to impress employers? If so how many projects?
1. I didn't hear about any exam which is easy It just mean that you can achieve it only by preparing yourself appropriately. 2. Microsoft certified courses are considered valid if you are going work using particular tools. For example if you are certified with C#, it is not considered for a network admin job. But if the employer is looking for C# programmers, then you will gain some points. 3. MS certified courses are not equal to university degree. Since you have already followed a degree, you know that you need to study few years, write exams, do projects, etc... But MS courses can be done with 2-3 weeks study. 4. There are CDs available (may be you'll be able to buy/download from Internet) for training MS courses. Sample questions and answers can be also found. 5. You will have to find an exam agent to apply for the exam. You will be given a computer to take the exam online at their premises. Time is the critical factor as you need to answer as much as questions within the allocated time. 6. No projects are required to pass the exam and get the certificate. 7. My personal opinion. If you are a good parrot, you can pass these exams . Also, you'll be able to impress the employer at the interview table. However you must also be ready to impress them at work. For this you need to do some projects, may be you can start with a small inventory system for a local store, etc... These counts quite a lot for an employment. If you have a basic degree (like physics or maths) you can learn programming concepts if you buy some books yourself and step to the field of software engineering. In addition to increase your paper qualifications, you must gain some practical experience in the field as soon as you can do programming.
You need to practice a lot for Microsoft Certification in Visual Studio. Then i don't think you will find it difficult. You can take online programming help to do practice.
