    i really wanna see yahoo get sold
    i wanna see someone being able to give competition to google...

    In a sense, yes. There would be two companies competing instead of two.
    However, the competition will be more concentrated if there were only two.

    microsoft may want to buy yahoo but i dont think that yahoo will accept it. they are in a search war with google . i think it will not leave the war area:D

    I would consider that Google wants to own more companies than Microsoft does. Google has bought many companies recently to gain extra share in the services Google does. Good luck to both Google and Microsoft in buying Yahoo (whichever buys Yahoo first).
