Serves them right to be honest, what gets me annoyed is the fact people with modded controllers don't get banned, you know the "Rapid Fire" modded controllers that is a very unfair advantage if your not using one, but still people get away using them in servers, and it becomes quite clear when people are using them but still they never get banned.
Wow, I see alot of consoles on ebay for sale. Aparrantly dont buy them of there because most of them are blocked.
Actually, I read this earlier today, and there's actually ANOTHER side to the coin (three-sided coin? :O) Stores like Gamestop, for example, are reselling XBOX's that are traded-in..people buy them thinking they're getting a good, refurbished XBOX except when they get home, BAM they can't get on XBOX live because the console itself has been blacklisted.
Wow, accordingly more got banned on a certain date. My friends one is banned for life and is on ebay.
They only charge you $60.00 per game because the little people like paying it. They dont force people to pay anything, gamers are at fault here. I bet if everybody refused to pay 60 per game all the prices would drop like rocks.
I think one of the Microsoft insider designed the mod to poplarise it. Then they banned it to gain another level of popularity. Or am I kidding ?
Damn. But well, Banning these XBox's, I personally, think wasnt wrong on Microsoft's behalf...I mean. When it comes to big companies...piracy is not a small issue. I know it sounds stupid when a young guy like me say that we should not be buying duplicate CD's or whatever...but well, whats wrong is wrong. So well...XBOX is gonna suffer from this...cuz the neck to neck competition between PS3 and XBOX, is no longer gonna be neck to neck. Guess im gonna buy PS3 now... thanks for sharingbdw...I was unaware of it
I remember I got GTA4 before it was released in shops, Was told not to go on xbox live or people may ask questions
i actually listened to some guys talk about how the swapped their xbox 360 internals for a new one and then return it to walmart. that is pretty crazy. Can't microsoft track that? It is kinda dangerous isn't it? Why not just buy your games?
Microsoft has come down really hard on them regardless if they are paying the $50 a year for live gold accounts. They can still use their account but not on the banned system. Wonder if they have any lawyers involved yet on either side?
don't they have to activate the card in the store? Or do they just use the code under the scratch-off stuff?
