Can Any One have an ideas What is Active Directory? What is the namespace used to access the Microsoft Active Directories.

I will highly appreciate your feed back.

    Thanks in advance.

    hey!!
    In computer language,
An Active Directory is a directory service used to store information about the network resources across a domain and also centralize the network.

or you can say the AD provides information on the objects, organizes the objects, controls access and sets security.

Active Directory is Microsoft’s implementation of directory services.
AD has additional features and compatibility such
as the close integration of the directory services to Windows domains and Domain Name
    Service (DNS).

A Windows domain must be named identically to its DNS
domain. The same DNS name is used for both the IP address resolution and the Active
    Directory domain name.
