A client contacted me and would like to edit a current Access program they are running by changing the location of the database it is saving to. Unfortunately I have scoured the program trying to find where to edit the database connection to change the path and am stumped. I have tried multiple versions of Access and the program locks the menus.

Does anyone have an idea where to change the database location on an Access program?

u have to check the odbc driver that is available at control panel-->administrative tools.
add the new database in here and then try to connect. it will work

Thanks you for your help but I didn't need to setup an ODBC connection to get it to work the first time.

Are you talking about linked tables? To do that, in Access 2003, right click on a linked table, click on the 'Linked Table Manager' on the menu that pops up and select the tables you want to change.

If not talking about linked tables, could you better define what you mean by 'the location of the database it is saving to'?
