Micropayments by phone in US

    Hello,

    In The Netherlands are micropayments by calling to a paid number a popular way to buy something that cost €1,30 or so. But is this way to paid a small amount of money also be used in the US? Or is a payment by Paypal much popular?

    Paypal has a micro-payments category, but I think you need to be in the United States to be eligible. Have you tried a merchant account and see if you can get your transaction fee reduced some? That might be one way. You could also look into SMS billing as well to see if that might be feasible for you.

    I'm also very interested in this subject. I use micropayments in the Netherlands and some other European countries as well...

    But I just can't find a (good, reliable) MicroPayments provider for the USA.

    Would love to hear some suggestions!
