For a community website with many member from countries of the FSU we are looking for a micropayment donation option. Many of the large suppliers either offer ridiculous charges or do not offer these countries at all. If there is a local supplier that is reliable we could try them. Please suggest which micropayment suppliers can offer a fair rate for these countries.

For countries that are usually excluded from the 'safe lists' of payment processors, I too suggest premium SMS service. However, you need to be very careful when picking your service provider as there's many that offer free startup, no monthly fees etc. but take an enormous cut, want you to advertise their service where-ever you put the SMS number etc. Usually it's best to go with professional providers that may charge a startup fee but at least provide reasonable payouts and have humane Ts&Cs.
