hey... i came across this site today micro venture capital microvc.blogspot.com sounds like a cool idea, does anyone knows it? if you get the money, do you have to return it later? how does venture capital money really works, what do they want from you?
I am not sure about micro venture capital funding but for standard venture capital, the VCs main goal is to make money and they will only invest in a business which is viable and in their own computation would yield them big money in the short run with the minimum of risk. They will invest in a business which they can cash out within a short time frame. Typically a VC will buy shares in your company and thus gain part ownership of your business. Some may insist on dictating your corporate policies and goals during that time frame.
