Hey. So I've been recently starting up micro-niche websites. I've been getting up very close domain names but for the rankings, I need to know a few things. What type of backlinks should be focused? The speed of backlinks as the domain age is less than a year? I have quality, any risk of penalization? My websites do have quality content written by native English speaking people, the domain names are perfect according to the niche, on-site optimization is at its best if not perfect (like h1,h2,bold tags - internal linking - only the required stuff in sitemap). So since that is good, I do need backlinks to rank up so for that I'm looking for people to do SEO for me like article submissions and stuff. But the only thing I'm worried about is any threat of penalization due to the speed of links because some people believe a risk exists if domain age is less than a year.
There are no hard and fast rules about speed of backlinking, except to say that the faster it happens, the greater the chance of Google flagging you up for a visit.
Yeah but I want to know about it technically, some still survive even after a lot of links. Is it about the quality of the backlinks ? What amount is a fair call ?
I usually do a submission a week on new websites. my guys always take their time and work on multiple websites at a time (I'm up to managing 90 or so). Slow and steady, because I only update as needed. I try to encourage natural retweets etc and not try to trick google into thinking I'm producing quality. Quality is determined by google. Google generally determines quality by ascertaining what others consider quality (where there is smoke there is fire), so while you and your writer may think its great quality the rest of the world may find it blah, unremarkable or not capable of sharing. Now there are business problems to serving this sector determined by google but I kindof went on a rant so I'll stop. If I were you I would either have plenty of websites to keep your fingers busy or casually submit to directories as needed. When I do SEO work, all of its manual and all of it is 'casual' as in I rarely push a website unless it has 50k plus viewers.
Yeah I have more to come so I'm looking for some SEO on all those sites. So basically, I'm concerned about link building of new websites staying under a safe limit. That's what I wanna know about.
