    Hello !
Recently i bought online a Micron/Crucial 4GB PC2-5300/DDR2-667 ECC FB DIMM 2x 2GB and i tried to put them on the motherboard ( Intel S5000PSLROMBR ) but the server doesn't read them.

On the box says that the RAMs are compatible with the motherboard ( S5000 ).

    Have a nice day.

The memory might be faulty if the machine isn't seeing the new memory. Either that or it's just not compatible with the machine.

    Check ram speeds/freq in BIOS.

Verify with the ram brand/company that it IS compatible the R version of that motherboard.

If the memory is compatible, make sure that the BIOS is up-to-date

I'm pretty sure that the beeping is an error message from the BIOS re the memory. The problem could be with one or both DIMMs, memory sockets, dirt, seating, motherboard, OS, BIOS, etc.

You need to do some hardware troubleshooting and then contact Micron/Crucial. There are some web-based tests that you can run to confirm your computer's memory compatibility.

There's not much more I can do to help.
