    i dont, but put yourself in the shoes of some 11 year old who loves the falcons and watches the plays Vick makes (made). wouldn't you want to be just like him too..especially if football was the only thing that you felt made you complete? thats what everyone is talking about.

    there are a lot of great players that would be excellent role models but some of the ones I was referring to would make Charles Barkley look like a cub scout!

    remember his: "I am not a role model" thing :p

    time to get that kid some big brothers because if playing football makes him feel "complete" then something is wrong. Being able to run fast, catch a ball, or throw a ball, should not be qualities that make up a role model.

    The reason he's getting such harsh treatment?

    1. He's idolized by children. They see him doing this, they'll think it's acceptable.
    2. He didn't plead on dog fighting charges. He pleaded guilty on conspiracy/gambling charges. Other charges against him include violating commerce acts. State charges will be brought up later.
    3. He didn't just fight and gamble, he financed the operation. He was a big-wig.
