    Tell us how you really feel? Could you elaborate a little? I've met Mr. Powell, and spoken before the FCC several times both during Powell's time with the FCC and before/after. I do not have that same impression.

    This thread cracks me up. In late October, following a series of high profile RECENT endorsements of Obama by a variety of Republicans, this thread is started in late October, referencing the January 08 endorsement of McCain by a Republican.

    What a joke.

    The newsworthiness is in the number of high profile Republicans who have abandoned McCain at this late stage in the campaign.

    The strength of the Republican party is cracking. The "core" or right wing remains behind McCain. They have been reinforced by both the Palin nomination and the movement by McCain to the right.

    Republicans who have felt disenfranchised by the Right are moving out of the party toward Obama. That is the fascinating news.

    Of course if you do want to print things that are about McCain staffers and advisors and is significantly more current....you may wish to consider the following.....

    I guess this is a good way for McCain to thin out his various advisory staffs ;)
