RIP Michael Jackson. I learnt about it half an hour back on facebook. And then was glued to BBC and other news channels. While LA times and TMZ.com and a few oters were claiming that MJ was dead, BBC refused to confirm till about 10 mins back. I wrote a blog post about it - Michael Jackson dead
If you're trying to make some quick bucks out of this, then that is pretty damn tasteless. Clearly by that URL, it looks pretty obvious what you're trying to do.
Sadly people have been bad talking him and making him the punch line of jokes for close to a decade... now that he is dead just watch the cult following grow to previously unseen magnitudes... look out Elvis, Kurt Cobain, and 2Pac, MJ is the new dead artist on the block.
He was legendary, I grew up listening to him and it Thriller was probably the first song I ever remember hearing. He will be missed but his music is gonna keep his legacy alive.
He is still a legend, idol. We'll miss you King Of Pop Michael http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CaAD7EizAfw RIP MJ
I am a great fan. Elvis Presley and the Beatles are the only artists to sell over one billion records. The next two in that list are Bing Crosby and Michael Jackson, with between 500 million and one billion sales. MJ = A true icon in music.
I'm not often moved by celebrity deaths, but Michael Jackson and his music have been a "part of my life" since I was a young child. It's very sad & surreal that he has passed away.
