Right now I'm just using the software "Windows Speech Recognition" that comes with Vista. I think there is something like that for the Mac, too. But soon I'm going to download the Dragon Naturally Speaking software, since apparently that is the best.
I might be mistaken, but as far as I know usfreeads uses "nofollow". So search engine spiders are not going to your link and usfreeads is worthless for getting backlinks, because of the nofollow.
Dragon naturally speaking 10 is the bomb as far as speech recognition goes. Also, it's only like $54.00 right now om Amazon, so it's well worth it. Also, for your review site, add some photos and make it feel more like a landing page and less like a generic blog.
Thanks for the info. Yeah, I'm making a new review site with a new design, I don't really like that one I have in my sig.
Today, I focused on opening a new review site for the different clickbank products I am going to be promoting. Half of the time was spent on looking for a good theme (the most annoying part in my opinion), and then I changed around some graphics and added some content. I'll possibly reveal the site once it is close to completion. No sales today, but I did get a lot of hops compared to the past few days, so I'm pretty pleased with that. I don't really mind not having that many sales as of yet, because I know the time I'm putting into this project is not enough to start generating sales instantly. I'm not giving up though! I'll keep on keeping on. Right now, I'm looking to hit a 1-2 sale a week mark. Then, I'll shoot for the 1 sale a day mark. I think this pacing will help me achieve my ultimate goal. Total Profit: $16.17 (cost about $7.00 for the domain I bought)
good luck mate. review blogs are easy money. mine is pulling in around $700US a month now only after 2 months or so. all organic traffic.
That's awesome! My last review blog is what made me my big money (I think like $300-$350 in the first three weeks), so that's why I'm starting up a new one.
How do these review blogs work? Do you just post reviews on all products in a certain niche or what? They sound pretty awesome.
Yeah, just choose whatever products you want and write like a 200 word review for it. If you're targeting the right keywords, then you should be ranking pretty well for a lot of products (meaning you don't need to create a new blog/site for each product). But it's important that the blog is pretty powerful - so more time is needed to spend on getting backlinks, bookmarking things, stuff like that.
Thanks, +Rep added. What works better, solely posting reviews or a mix of reviews and general content?
Thanks for the rep. I was doing solely reviews, but I'm sure adding more general content would help as well.
Yeah guys, if you are writing a lot of content, then I would say that Dragon is the best investment that you can make. You will be able to increase your productivity by many fold, and it really does make a lot less painless...
OK, today is over with, and once again, no sales. And not a lot of hops either. So today kind of sucked. But, I continued to work on my new review site, and bought an directory submission package for it. The homepage isn't indexed yet, but some of the posts are. Right now, I'm going to be solely focusing on getting backlinks for the site and adding more reviews and content. Total Profit: $6.17 (The article submission cost me $10.00)
Hey everyone, sorry I didn't get to post last night (I was out the whole night). I didn't make any sales anyway, so it wasn't going to be a very exciting post. But, I do hold out hope that Clickbank is kind of glitched right now, and I have made some sales that just haven't been reported yet (at least I hope). But my review site is coming along very nicely right now. I definitely see some major potential in it. I'll update again later tonight. Total Profit: $6.17
Well I'm probably wrong, but I heard some sales were not recorded on the day they were done. So they're backed up right now or something for some accounts.
OK, so I'm starting to get a little annoyed/upset. Yesterday, I sent about 50 hops at like 7 different products, but I did not get one sale. And about half of it I think is search engine traffic, so there is no reason why at least one person wouldn't decide to purchase it. It's been like this for the past three days. But, I'm not going to give up. My new review site is doing pretty well, and is already indexed (yesterday I got 27 visitors from Google), so I'm optimistic about that site. I bought 10 two hundred and fifty word articles yesterday, as well as a new domain. That will be used to promote certain "relationship" products. Total Profit: -$17.17
