    My laptop has 1598.7 mhz

I am looking to buy a netbook with 1.66 ghz am I right in thinking this laptop is well slow compaired to the ghz netbook?

    1598.7 mhz = 1.6 gigahertz apx
Just move the decimal three places to the left.

Don't expect to move mountains with a netbook. They're brilliant for what they are, but they're not a laptop replacement.

It's basically the same as 1 kilometer converted to 1000 meters - math tells me that one is faster, though not notably for an end-user.

If I'm not mistaken, you already owned 1598.7 mhz laptop and want to buy a 1.66 ghz netbook? It's almost the same clock. You should stick with your laptop.

Yeah, really, 1598.7 MHZ is 1.6 GHZ. You should get something a little bit better.

Yes It will make a difference in size i Mean....;)
You might buy the notebook if you really need it, if you feel it will be more convenient than your current laptop

1 Ghz equivalent to 1024 Mhz!
