Ok Guys, so there is a few posts here that talk about filtering MFA sites and how you can make more money per click, but i ve also heard of people filtering mfa sites and their revenue goes down. Personally, I filtered a few using the ADSBLACK List and sometimes I am getting 0.01 per click, or even two, now that is some scary stuff. before I filtered the MFA sites I was gettinig some clicks at 50-80 Cents, now they have gone really low. My content deals with mental health problems such as depression, stress, anxiety and treatments for those listed. So what is your experience with MFA sites guys? Do you filter them, if you do, which ones and if not, why not? Share with all of us, especially the newbies like me. Sincerely, Ed
I've tried using auto-generated MFA blacklists twice and both times I had a noticeable downturn in revenue. I guess its worth trying but it definitely isn't the cure all that some claim. To be honest I think you are better off improving the content on your pages and leaving Google to choose the most relevant and profitable ads. The only ads I filter now are those that don't look like they would appeal to my visitors, but normally improving keywords and content does the trick. Cheers BP
http://human-01.blogspot.com/2006/10/mfa-websites-killing-them-will-kill.html Try for one day, if things gone bad, don't filter them .
Actually I've been using a list and visiting common ads that're displayed on my page. If I get the feeling they're low bidders or made for adsense pages. I usually blacklist them. I know this isn't a smart way to do things because bids are unpredictable. But I'm taking them off and adding them daily and writing down the stats. Anyone else have any thoughts on this?
I used that blacklist filter, and noticed that sometimes ads aren't even showing up now. Instead of the adsense ads, I'm just seeing a blank white space. I'm going to remove some of those "MFA" sites from my competitive ad filter now, because some of them are actually real sites.
I agree with you computerized, it seems that removing many of the MFA sites from the list adsblacklist gives better ads. I remvoed most of them today, I ll see what happens and let you guys know. Ed
Here's the deal with ad filtering for low CPC: If you have the time to sit there and check up on your site daily about which ad is showing up and which ad you should block, you are not making REAL money. People who make real money with Adsense or other PPC network don't have the time for this; they are too busy running huge and multiple sites that are making a lot of money. If your biggest concern is which ad should I filter out that is paying me .1-cent, you are paying attention to the wrong part of your business.
If you are earning more without filtering, do not filter. For me, I've been earning about $0.01 - $0.02 for each click last few weeks. After I've filter damn, daily(there's a new MFA site everyday), my earning raise abit to $0.10 - $1.20. The reason I filter MFA sites is not that they pay low, but is to keep my ads's reputation. When a visitor click on the ads, and found that it's totally bullshit, he or she won't bother to click anymore in future.
Im filtering and this increase my site trustfullness and earnings, ppl say here about filtering mfa site can decrease your earnings is the MFA owner who dont want to lose their earnings on u so come on guys FILTER ALL MFA SITE NOW while u can.
I just tried the ADSBLACK filter list, too early to tell how it goes though, but I think I am seeing an improvement - MENJ
Well, nice but for some niches that I have MFA is the best related ads . better then an ads about cars on a Detective Conan pages lol .
I dont know. For my arcade site i filtered some MFA sites well the ones that were generated by Adsblack list and my revenue increased by alot. I usually make 1-3 dollars a day, but after filtering them i make 10-15 dollars a day. But its always best to stick to adding more and more content. - Prilep
Yes I do. Before I put filter for MFA site on my google account I got $0.01 - 0.05 / click BUT now I get $0.35 - 1.00/Click. It's work... and nice
You can actually check if they are MFA before adding them to your filter list. I don't use AdsBlacklist, but I observe those MFA myself.
