    I wouldn't exchange advertising unless it's link exchange. If i deserve a +1 or a share on any website that's good. if not, well i won't get it.

    Exchanging the links or Exchanging the +1's are no way recommended by the Google and even i am not likely to do it because it will get nothing to us except the unethical results for unethical practices. I wish to be fair in the SEO game, so it may be late and more difficult but i wish to get the legit results for my efforts.

    It's OK to get google +1's with like exchanges.

    But it will not work magic for a crummy site.

    The value is increasing every day, but it should only be one part of your marketing plan

    Well if you deserved to be linked to, then you would get it as well. Unfortunately that's not quite how the system works.

    I will urge that anyone looking into exchanging or acquiring Google +1's should definitely be careful. The effects of bad +1's from a provider that is creating his own accounts and leaving a footprint can be quite negative.

    I've heard rumors on link exchanges having bad impact on ranking after the latest Google algo update. So I don't thing the situation is quite different concerning G+1s
